Supervisor Lynnette Riddick

SupvRiddickDebra Lynnette Riddick was born and reared in Elizabeth City North Carolina. She was raised by her grandparents Booker T. Washington Jones, who was a Baptist preacher, and Erma Cherry Jones, a restaurant owner. Once she graduated high school, Supervisor Riddick went on to college and received her Degree in Physical Therapy in 1981. In August, of that same year she married her sweetheart, Ronnie L. Riddick. Four years later in 1985 both received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives while stationed in Kitzigen, West Germany.

Although, the military relocated them several times, Supervisor Riddick worked steadfastly wherever they were relocated. She has been a church secretary; a hospitality worker; YWCC president; First Lady’s adjutant; and Bible study teacher. She also served as president of varied auxiliaries within the local churches wherever they were stationed by the military. Furthermore, in 1998, she was appointed to the positions of District Hospitality President and District Secretary of the Northern Evangelistic District in upstate New York. Supervisor Riddick served faithfully in these positions for 2 years until the military moved them to El Paso. In June 2000, Supervisor Riddick became a licensed Evangelist Missionary in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) in the Northern New York Jurisdiction under Bishop Leroy Anderson and Mother Helena Akins, Women’s Supervisor. Once in the El Paso area, she has also held the offices of District Co-Chairlady in the Arizona Jurisdiction; Minister’s Wives President of the Zion District; TWJ Women’s Advisory Board President; and Third Assistant to TWJ Women’s Supervisor Dorothy Marbury.

Alongside her husband, Pastor Ronnie Riddick, they founded Westside Christian Fellowship in March 2006. After several years of dedicated service to the COGIC Texas Western Jurisdiction, she was appointed as the Assistant Women’s Supervisor and served diligently in that capacity beside Supervisor Dorothy Marbury for 3 years. Based on the recommendation from Mother Marbury and Bishop Juan Lawson, Evangelist Riddick was installed as the Women’s Supervisor of the Texas Western Jurisdiction on November 4, 2011 in St. Louis, Missouri at the 104th Holy Convocation. Since her appointment, Supervisor Riddick serves at the national church level with the Supervisors of Circle II (COGIC); on the Hospitality Committee, and The Love & Concern Committee.

In addition to church work, Supervisor Riddick has been a volunteer teacher for various Adult Literacy Programs and a Phone Counselor for the Crisis Pregnancy Center of El Paso.

She has furthered her education by receiving a B.A.A.S. in Christian Studies from Howard Payne University; and is planning to pursue a Master’s Degree in Clinical Practice Management. The Riddicks have two adult children: Steven (TiAnna) and Danielle; along with two grandchildren Julean and Jenell Riddick. She currently serves as the Director of Rehab & Wellness at Mountain View Healthcare Center in El Paso.
