2nd Administrative Assistant: Superintendent Glenn Murchison


About Supt. Glenn Murchison
Superintendent Glenn F. Murchison received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, and was filled with the Holy Ghost on 17 December 1984. He was called to the ministry in 1993. He has served in nearly every capacity of the church including, but not limited to: Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Pastor, Mission worker, Usher Board President, Deacon, and Evangelistic Outreach. He was always a faithful worker and eager to serve others.

In 2002, Pastor Murchison was appointed as the Bethel COGIC the 2nd Assistant Pastor. Shortly thereafter, the Murchison Family would PCS on their third tour to Europe (Germany 2004), he served as the Assistant Pastor of House of Prayer COGIC in Ansbach Germany, and as Mission President in the Germany Jurisdiction COGIC Vilseck.

He holds a BA in Pastoral Studies from Southwestern College. He has also earned a Masters in Human Resource Development from Webster University in May 2010.

He is a graduate of the United States Army First Sergeant Course and graciously retired after 21 years of service. His highest awards include the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Air Assault Badge.

Pastor Murchison is the founder of Bethel FORCE COGIC Faith Outreach Center in 2005, which is now a thriving and growing ministry. In less than 5 years of ministry, under his leadership, the church has purchased its own property with over 18000 sq.ft. (including parking).

Supt Murchison is a visionary for the church today and he loves Gods’ people. He is a faithful servant to the Emmanuel District and in the Texas Western Jurisdiction.

He hails from Baltimore, MD. He is married to the lovely Mrs. Felicia M. Murchison of Tunica, MS, and they are the proud parents of two wonderful children, Jamal, 19, and Gwendolyn, 11
